Biography

Beth Willard is an expert on Spanish wine. A regular feature writer for Decanter, she is also Regional Co-Chair for Spain at the Decanter World Wine Awards. Beth collaborates with Tim Atkin MW and is a member of the Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino.

Beth Willard will lead a tasting of innovative, outstanding Spanish wines. These wines are made from different grape varieties from various regions across Spain. What do they have in common? They are all using different materials for fermentation and ageing breaking from a reliance on oak. These are modern and exciting styles of wines all employing techniques originating in the past.
